What is the process for filing a workers’ compensation claim in Florida?

When a worker is injured on the job, the worker should immediately report the injury to his supervisor. However, a worker does have 30 days to report the injury to his employer. In the event the employer denies the claim, the worker has two years to file a petition before the claim is barred.
