Do I have to be injured at my workplace to be covered by workers’ compensation in Florida?

You don’t have to be at your employer’s place of work to be covered by workers’ compensation. Workers’ compensation will cover an employee as long as that employee is acting in the course and scope of his employment. For example, a UPS driver could be delivering a package and that UPS driver could get hurt in a car accident or even delivering the package and it’s still covered.
