What is negligent security?

In order to hold a property owner responsible for negligent security, you have to show that you were harmed by the actions of a third person. That third person is typically not associated with the property owner, but you have to show that the harm you sustain was due to the failure on the part of the property owner. Some failures would include improper lighting, a lack of security, and a lack of fencing.
