Can Florida dog owners be held liable if their dog bites?

Although there are exceptions generally, under most circumstances, the owner of a dog that bites someone can be held liable for the resulting injury. This is true regardless of whether the dog owner was aware of the dog’s previous behavior or prior viciousness.
