I loaned my car to a friend who was involved in a Florida car accident. Am I liable if my friend was at-fault?

Florida follows the dangerous instrumentality doctrine. What that means is the owner of a motor vehicle is responsible for any damage done by that vehicle. If you loan that car out to a friend, you are responsible.
