We Are Committed to the Communities of North Central Florida

Our attorneys live and work in Marion County and are deeply rooted in this community and region. Victor J. Musleh, Jr. is a third-generation Marion County resident. His paternal grandparents immigrated to the United States and settled in Ocala in 1921 to raise five children, all of whom stayed in the area. His grandfather opened a small family-run grocery store on Broadway in the 1920's only a few blocks from the building depicted on the homepage of our website. Unbeknownst to him at the time, one of his biggest customers was the infamous bank-robber Ma Barker, who was later killed along with her gang in one of the largest FBI shootouts in U.S. history, which took place on the north shore of Lake Weir in southern Marion county.

Mr. Musleh's maternal grandfather, A.A. Goolsby, moved to Marion County from North Carolina in the early 1950's and farmed the area for many years. The Goolsby Family recently donated five acres of the original farm to Marion County for the new Belleview Public Library in honor of his grandparents.

In 1949, Mr. Musleh's uncle, E. G. "Gus" Musleh, began practicing law in Ocala. Victor's father, Victor J. Musleh, Sr., first started representing injury victims in Ocala in 1960 before becoming a Circuit Court Judge in 1984 and later the Chief Judge of the Fifth Judicial Circuit where he remained until his retirement. Mr. Musleh's father fueled his desire to protect the "little guy," whose life has oftentimes been turned upside down by injury or tragedy through no fault of his own. Victor J. Musleh, Jr. has never considered representing major corporations or the powerful insurance industry. In 2000, Mr. Musleh's wife Kelly Musleh, a former prosecutor in Marion and Sumter Counties, joined the firm to continue the fight for negligence victims.
